OUR GOAL
Unmanned systems play a key role in the conduct of combat operations on the battlefield today. This is a war using modern methods, at the forefront of the latest technologies, high accuracy and efficiency.
Our goal is to ensure the effective use of unmanned systems in military operations, increase safety and reduce risks for personnel.
We strive to be leaders in the field of unmanned technologies and do everything possible to achieve this goal.
WHO WE ARE
The Perun Unmanned Systems Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hero of Ukraine Valerii Hudz.
The battalion’s personnel have been carrying out combat missions since June 2023 in the most intense combat zones:
Donetsk and Luhansk directions: Serebrianskyi Forest, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar
Since May 2024 — in the Kharkiv region
Since August 2025 — in the Pokrovsk direction
At present, our battalion is one of the most effective unmanned systems units within the Ground Forces.

The lives of our warriors are our highest priority.
That is why everyone who joins our battalion undergoes specialized training at dedicated training centers and receives the appropriate certifications.
Newcomers are integrated into established crews or units, where they acquire skills, expertise, and operational experience.
Only after this preparation do they begin operating as part of a combat crew.
We continuously develop and improve to ensure the reliable defense of our country.
